BLACKSBURG, Va. -- Virginia Tech, fresh off an Atlantic Lacrosse Conference championship and a quarterfinal finish at the 2022 MCLA National Championships presented by New Balance, is poised to make another run in 2023.

The Hokies have announced their '23 slate, with many challenges along the way.

Tech will face nine teams that finished in the Top 25 of the final New Balance MCLA Division I Coaches Poll.

On Feb. 18, the Hokies will travel to Lynchburg to face No. 6 Liberty in an early season showdown.

To kick off spring break, Virginia Tech will head to Atlanta to face No. 2 Georgia Tech and No. 14 California.

The Hokies will then visit No. 5 Clemson on March 18 and No. 1 South Carolina the following day before hosting No. 8 Concordia and playing at divisional foe NC State to wrap up the regular season.

"We can't wait to get back on the field and compete for an ALC and MCLA title," said Virginia Tech coach Panchito Ojeda. "We have high level challenges week in and week out. "
