It was a good year for Montana, which won the conference championship this past weekend, as the Grizzlies swept the major awards.
Senior pole Justin Renk was named both the Defensive Player of the Year as well as the conference’s Most Valuable Player.
Grizzly sophomore attackman Miles Hess was tabbed the Offensive Player of the Year while rookie midfielder Preston Stewart took home Freshman of the Year accolades.
The trio were part of seven Montana players on the all-conference first team.
