WCLL Announces D-I All-Conference
SAN FRANCISCO – The Western Collegiate Lacrosse League (WCLL) has released its Division I all-conference teams and major award winners for the 2023 campaign.
UC Santa Barbara junior attackman Lucas Menendez is the conference Offensive Player of the Year and is one of five players on the WCLL first team.
California goalie Zach Blake is the Defensive Player of the Year, leading a pair of Golden Bears on the first team.
Sonoma State’s Ben Hewitt was tabbed the Coach of the Year in the WCLL after leading the Seawolves to the tournament semifinals.
