LA CROSSE, Wis. – Time for another conference check-in.

ALC
Division I
We’re ready to roll in ALC. Bracket HERE.

Division II
Still a lot of moving pieces here. Wake Forest and UNC-Charlotte squared off this weekend in what will go a long in determining who makes the playoffs, but Appalachian State still has the chance to play spoiler and trigger a three-way tie next weekend.

Citadel has the inside track, but the South is wide open. Coastal Carolina beating Wilmington is a boost for the Chanticleers.

RESULTS: FRIDAY | SATURDAY | SUNDAY

CLC
Division I
After last Friday’s win over No. 5 Boston College, Northeastern looked like they were ready to take control of the race for the top seed, but then New Hampshire came along and bounced the Huskies on Sunday. The Wildcats are now in the driver’s seat with two games to play.

Division II
Rhode Island blew the doors off Bridgewater State, presumably the Rams’ last remaining threat in the CLC. Tough seeing this other than a URI conference coronation. Funnier things have happened, however.

After a five-way tiebreaker in the LSA South, the seeds have been set: 1. TCU, 2. Texas, 3. A&M, 4. LSU.

North: 1. Mizzou, 2. KU, 3. OU. Because of team unavailability, SMU has been flipped into the North as the No. 4 seed.

LSA
Division I
It came down to a five-way tie for first-place in the LSA South, resulting in SMU getting left out of the mix. Fortunately for the Mustangs, a North team declared unavailability for the tournament, creating an opening.

As such, SMU will get slotted at No. 4 out of the North and head across town to South No. 1 TCU in the first round. The Horned Frogs dominated the Ponies last week.

Division II
The contraction at the beginning of the season from four to subdivisions to three has made for an awkward seeding process, but it will involve utilizing no-traditional metrics to fill out the four-team semifinals and finals with three conferences. Stayed tuned!

PNCLL
Division I
Boise State is the only team that could derail Simon Fraser’s quest for the top seed in the conference tourney when they meet next Friday. With its win over Oregon on Saturday night, Washington is into the playoffs, but still has to face Boise State next weekend.

If Oregon State beats Oregon in the Civil War next weekend, it could potentially trigger a three-way tie between the Ducks, Beavers and Broncos. An Oregon win and they are in.

Division II
Montana is the top seed out of PNCLL-II North followed by Western Washington. In the South, both Northwest Nazarene and College of Idaho are heading to the playoffs with next Saturday’s winner between the two avoiding Montana in the first round.

RMLC
Division I
We know the four teams in the RMLC tournament – Utah has been eliminated – but the order is still up for grabs. Utah Valley is still the presumptive favorite to land the top seed, but they have the Colorado trip still left.

Division II
This one is wrapped up. Montana State and Utah State are in out of the Norwest subdivision while Air Force and MSU Denver are in from the Southeast. They will crossover in the semifinals, which will be held at Colorado State.

SELC
Division I
The semifinals are set after last weekend’s first round of action in LaGrange. The champs aren’t dead yet. Bracket HERE.

Division II
With Kennesaw's defeats North Florida on Saturday, the Owls will be the top seed out of the North with Georgia Southern at No. 2. Florida Gulf Coast and Florida Atlantic will be the top two seeds out of the South, respectively. Bracket HERE.

SLC
Division I
Chapman and Concordia are in the driver’s seat for the two top seeds, and next weekend’s matchup will determine who gets which. San Diego State and Arizona State will fill out the rest of the bracket in some form depending on their outcomes next Saturday.

Division II
The D-II field is set with Cal State San Marcos and Northern Arizona snagging top-seed byes into the semifinals. The first round takes place this coming weekend at home sites. Bracket HERE.

UMLC
Division I
The East side is all accounted for with Michigan State getting the top seed followed by Purdue and Western Michigan. The West is still waiting for the makeup game between Illinois and Iowa State to figure things out. Minnesota is locked in as the top seed in the West.

Division II
The East is all set in terms of seeding, but the West is awaiting the St. Thomas-St. John’s contest on Friday to solidify the field that will compete at Loves Park, Ill., from April 28-30.

WCLL
Division I
The field is set, just waiting on first round times for this coming weekend. Cal and Cal Poly are the top seeds and through the semifinals in Hayward, Calif.

Division II
San Jose State’s victory over UC Santa Cruz on Friday night gives the Spartans the tiebreaker and final berth in the four-team tourney, joining UC Davis, Saint Mary’s and Chico State.

MY TOP FIVES
Division I
1. Florida (12-1) – Gators were in nearly an identical spot last year and didn’t win again.
2. Georgia (12-1) – Drawing the Gamecocks in the postseason is never great.
3. Chapman (13-2) – Panthers are looking like the Grim Reaper right now.
4. Virginia Tech (12-2) – The Hokies have to be considered the favorites in the ALC.
5. Simon Fraser (8-0) – Red Leafs will be a miserable first round test for a good team.

Division II
1. Montana State (10-1) – The Bobcats are running at a different level right now.
2. Florida Gulf Coast (9-0) – FAU gave the Eagles all they could handle in first meeting.
3. Rhode Island (11-1) – There’s no one in the CLC that can hang with the Rams.
4. Cal State San Marcos (12-1) – Cougars showed a lot of grit rallying against UCSD.
5. St. Thomas (7-2) – You can tell the Tommies are rounding into form.

SLIDES & RIDES
- Washington State defeated Idaho, 11-4, on Sunday to post its fourth win of the season. It’s the most win for the Cougars in nine years. Baby steps.

- Season is over in less than a month. Let’s make some great decisions out there for the final push. Don’t do something to jeopardize a great opportunity for a championship for you and your teammates.
