Schedule Set for SLC-II Tourney
SAN DIEGO – The field is set for the Southwestern Lacrosse Conference (SLC) Division II tournament, which will start this weekend with home site contests and culminate on April 30 at Canyon Hills (Calif.) High School.
The winner of the SLC D-II tournament will receive an automatic berth to the 2023 MCLA National Championships, which will be held at the Round Rock (Texas) Multipurpose Complex from May 8-13.
Saturday’s action will start with San Diego (6-3), the third seed out of the South subdivision, traveling to L.A. to face North second seed Claremont (5-5) at 5:30 p.m. The winner will square off against South top seed Cal State San Marcos (12-1) on April 29 (schedule below).
The nightcap features North third seed Loyola Marymount (4-6) traveling to South second seed UC San Diego (10-2) for a 7 p.m. faceoff. The victor earns a date with Northern Arizona (9-3), the top seed out of the North.
Admission to the first-round games is free to the general public. Info on the semifinal and final live streams and tickets will be released next week. There are no streams for first round games planned at this time.
