BOSTON – After a magical run to the MCLA Division II national championship game last spring, Rhode Island has been tabbed the favorite in the 2023 Continental Lacrosse Conference (CLC) preseason coaches poll.
The Rams (12-3), which comfortably rolled to the CLC crown last spring, scooped up five of the seven* first-place votes to push 10 points clear of the field.
Bridgewater State (8-7) snagged the remaining two first-place ballots to sit in the second chair.
UMass-Dartmouth (5-4) and Central Conn. State (3-8) are locked in a tie for third in the preseason poll of this eight-team league.
