UM’s Graslewicz Named Player of Week
ATLANTA – After leading Minnesota to three wins in three days – including a pair of higher-ranked victories – Golden Gophers junior attackman Nate Graslewicz has earned MCLA Division I Warrior Player of the Week honors for the period ending March 27.
Minnesota started the weekend on Friday against No. 13 Arizona and the Stillwater, Minn., product was ready for the challenge. He buried six goals and set up two others, factoring in half of the Gophers scores in a 16-8 triumph.
On Saturday, Graslewicz chipped in with a pair of goals in a comfortable, 15-10 win over San Diego State before unloading against No. 12 Arizona State on Sunday.
He connected for another six goals as Minnesota rolled, 16-11.
For the week, Graslewicz scored 14 goals along with a pair of assists for 16 total points.
“Nate is an incredibly strong player who can shoot from anywhere on the field,” said Minnesota coach Peter Gosen. “He was an overwhelming presence for opposing defenses on this trip.”
For his efforts earning the Warrior Player of the Week, Graslewicz will receive a Warrior Burn XP-O – a $100 value – for his efforts. Warrior is a proud sponsor of the MCLA.

In wins over South Florida and ranked Auburn, the dude from Davie, Fla., connected for four goals and five helpers combined.
Jake Halversen, Attack – Brigham Young
The Cougars swept their Colorado road trip, thanks to 12-point effort from the Beaverton, Ore., native – including eight points against CSU.
Jared Meltzner, Attack – Purdue
The Boilermakers took down Illinois and Butler, and the Littleton, Colo., product combined for a whopping 14 points (7g, 7a).
Liam Reid, Attack – Grand Canyon
In the Lopes triumph over SLC rival San Diego State, the Glendale, Ariz., native buried a goal before setting up seven others.
Christian Reno, Attack - Texas
The Fredericksburg, Texas, product combined for 11 goals and two assists as the Longhorns rolled past Oregon State and A&M.
Connor Stoker, Attack – Minnnesota
A high school team of Graslewicz at Mahtomedi, Stoker had 11 goals and five dimes in the Gophers undefeated road trip.
James Walker, Midfield – Dominican
The Penguins pulled off a stunner against Santa Clara, thanks to the Arvada, Colo., product. He finished with five goals and two dimes.
