DALLAS – Sweeping all of the first-place votes in the 2022 Division II Lone Star Alliance (LSA) Preseason Coaches Poll, Missouri State is the overwhelming favorite to top the conference this spring.
The Bears racked up 128 total points, putting them a comfortable 25 points clear of the next closest team.
Sitting in the second chair is Rice, with the Owls holding just a one-point lead over third-ranked Texas A&M D-II.
UT-San Antonio rounds out the top four of the 13-team league.
The winner of the LSA Division II tournament will receive an automatic qualifying bid to the 2022 MCLA National Championships presented by New Balance, which will be held in Round Round, Texas, from May 9-14.
