LSA D-II All-Conference Selections
DALLAS – Despite the cancelation of a large part of the season and the 2020 MCLA National Championships presented by New Balance, the Lone Star Alliance (LSA) has chosen to announce its Division II all-conference selections this spring.
With five first-team all-conference selections along with both individual superlatives, Rice led the way in LSA-II.
Owls’ senior Davis Nelson was not only a first-team pick at midfield and faceoff specialist, but he walked away with conference Most Valuable Player honors.
Rice head man Mike Ormsby was awarded Coach of the Year accolades.
UT San Antonio placed four players on the first team and 13 players overall while UT Dallas had a pair of student-athletes on the top squad.
Defending conference champion Missouri State and Louisiana each had a representative on the first team.
