The Skyhawks stunned top-seeded Kennesaw State in the first round with a strong ground game that netted them 1,897 of 3,742 total votes – a lean, 1.4% victory – to advance.
Missouri State moves on to the second round with a snoozer over Loyola Marymount. The Bears snatched 402 of the 641 votes to breeze into their matchup with Stonehill.
Can the underdog – and undermanned, student body-wise – Skyhawks go toe-to-toe with MoState boasting a school population of over 20 large?
