ATLANTA – After leading Georgia to a clean West Coast sweep, including a Top 10 victory, Bulldog senior attackman Cade Klawinski earns Dominant Performance of the Week presented by Warrior for the period ending March 1.

Georgia opened its trip to California by taking on UCLA in Westwood on Friday night, and bolstered by five goals and a dime from the Memphis, Tenn., product, the Bulldogs took home a 9-6 victory.

No. 10 Concordia-Irvine awaited Georgia on Saturday afternoon and again it was Klawinksi who led this way, matching his previous output with another five goals and an helper.

For the weekend, Klawinski finished with 10 goals and two assists while helping the Bulldogs improve to 4-3.

“Cade is an incredibly smart player and intense competitor,” said Georgia coach Andy Garrigan. “He is the quarterback of our offense and a strong team leader. His performance in California was a huge boost to the team.”

For his efforts in earning the Dominant Performance of the Week presented by Warrior, Klawinski will receive a new Warrior Burn 2 – a $90 value. Warrior is a proud supporter of the MCLA.

The Penguins squeezed out a 13-12 victory over visiting Oregon State thanks to a hat trick from the burly midfielder.

The California offense was in fine form in the 17-11 victory over Oregon. Bellas led the way with five goals and an assist.

Tyler Bogart, Sr. – Colorado
The Buffaloes finally opened their season and Bogart did so with a bang. He scored five goals and set up three others as Colorado downed Northeastern, 18-9.

Kyle Crews, Jr. – Grand Canyon
The Lopes picked up their first win of the season against Texas A&M helped by four goals and three assists from Crews.

Graham Gillespie, Sr. – Southern Methodist
The Mustangs took down Arkansas on the road, 14-10, and Gillespie was a spark, scoring three goals and setting up three others.

Sampson Samuel, Sr. – Iowa State
The Cyclones traveled to Lincoln, Neb., the face the Cornhuskers and thanks to nine points (4g, 5a) from Samuel, Iowa State won, 15-8.

Mark Schubert, Soph. – Virginia Tech
The Hokies rolled to wins over Tennessee and Temple, led by Shubert, who finished with a team high 12 points on the weekend (4g, 8a).

Garrett Sorenson, Jr. – Washington
The Huskies took down conference rival Simon Fraser and Sorenson was all over the field. He had five goals, one assist, five ground balls and a 70% faceoff win rate.

Chase Tornquist, Sr. – USC
In a 2-0 week for the Trojans, Tornquist hung six goals and an apple on UCSB before dropping three more points (2g, 1a) in a conference win over SDSU.
