MCLA Announces D-I All-Americans
ATLANTA – The four semifinalists at the 2019 MCLA National Championships powered by Under Armour – South Carolina, California, Chapman and Georgia Tech – combined to grab 12 of the 16 spots on the All-American First Team, which was released on Tuesday.
National champion South Carolina placed midfielder Griffin Giles and goalie Colin Haines on the first team while runner-up California had five players. Chapman had three and Georgia Tech claimed two.
Cal Poly, Colorado, Concordia-Irvine and Liberty also placed a student-athlete on the first team.
In total, 91 players were honored via three teams and honorable mention.
