UC Davis atop WCLL-II Bracket
SAN FRANCISCO – After rolling to an undefeated mark in conference play, UC Davis has earned the top seed in the Western Collegiate Lacrosse League Division II tournament that is slated to start on Friday evening.
Both the semifinals on Friday and the championship game on Saturday evening will be played at Rancho Cotate High School in Rohnert Park, Calif.
2019 WCLL DIVISION II TOURNAMENT BRACKET
The Aggies (9-4, 4-0 WCLL) won their four conference games by an average of 12.5 goals and will face Humboldt State (2-6, 1-3) in the 8 p.m. semifinal on Friday.
In the early semifinal at 5 p.m., No. 2 seed UC Santa Cruz (10-3, 3-1) clashes with third-seeded Saint Mary’s (5-6, 2-2).
The winners will meet on Saturday at 6 p.m. to decide a champion.
“We’re excited to have four outstanding teams full of talented student-athletes competing in our Division II championship,” said WCLL president Aaron Myers.
Both UC Davis (No. 10) and UC Santa Cruz (No. 16) enter the tournament ranked nationally in the Under Armour Weekly Coaches Poll.
Admission to the WCLL Division I semifinals and finals will be $10 for adults, $5 students and free for children under 8.
All three games of the of the WCLL Division II tournament will be streamed live.
