Cal Pulls WCLL-I Repeat
ROHNERT PARK, Calif. – Using an overwhelming offensive performance, California has repeated as the Western College Lacrosse League (WCLL) Division I championship. The Golden Bears defeated Santa Clara in the title game, 17-9, at Rancho Cotate High School on Sunday.
With the win, California (14-0) received an automatic bid to the 2019 MCLA National Championships powered by Under Armour, which will take place in Salt Lake City from May 6-11.
Jake Pistotnik was named the tournament Most Valuable Player after accumulating 13 points over two games.
