D-II Poll: A Familiar Look
ATLANTA – Once again it is Minn.-Duluth and its sparkling undefeated record sitting atop the charts in the Under Armour Weekly Coaches Poll for the period ending March 25.
For the second straight week, the Bulldogs (6-0) swept all but one first-place vote. Last week it was to No. 5 St. Thomas (3-2) that grabbed a top vote. This week it was defending national champion and current No. 6 North Dakota State (4-3) that snagged the final top pick.
Dayton (6-0) stayed in the No. 2 spot, setting up a monster, 1-v-2 contest this coming Sunday morning when the Flyers face Duluth at Grand Valley State. Set your alarms for a 7 a.m. faceoff.
Kennesaw (9-1) sits tight in the third chair followed by No. 4 St. John’s (3-0). The Johnnies will get their stiffest tests of the season against Dayton and No. 7 Grand Valley State (3-1) this weekend.
The aforementioned Tommies round out the Top 5.
Colorado Denver exits the poll this week to make way for No. 24 UNC-Charlotte.
