ATLANTA – After guiding the Golden Bears to a pair of wins – including the top-ranked team in the country – Cal-Berkeley sophomore Brendan Cook has earned Commanding Performance of the Week powered by Under Armour for the period ending Feb. 17.

No. 8 Cal took on No. 1 Chapman on the road Saturday and the Chatham, N.J., product scored a pair of goals and dished out three assists in the Bears’ 15-14 triumph.

On Sunday at the Pac-12 Shootout, Cal ran into No. 13 Arizona State. Thanks to four more goals from Cook, the Bears walked away with a 10-7 victory and a 4-0 mark on the season.

"Brendan is tough, fearless dodger who really helps balance the field for us,” said Cal coach Ned Webster. “He's our Rob Pannell behind the cage, equally adept as a dodger and feeder, who provides our offense with a ton of energy. And if we don't score, he's an absolute animal on the ride. Brendan's been huge for us so far."

For his efforts in earning the Commanding Performance of the Week powered by Under Armour, Cook will receive a new Under Armour Command Head – a $100 value. Under Armour is the proud sponsor of the MCLA.

The Gamecocks downed a pair of ranked teams in Georgia and Boston College, thanks to a combined five goals and two dimes from middie.

Mike Bush, Sr. – Auburn
The Tigers swept their Texas trip thanks to Bush, who had three points (2g, 1a) against Texas before dropping nine goals on Texas Christian.

Keenan Christoff, Sr. – Nevada
In the “Battle for Nevada” against UNLV, Christoff posted seven points (2g, 5a) in only one half of play, sparking the Wolfpack to a 17-5 victory.

Keaton Collier, Soph. – Santa Clara
A week after winning this award, Collier factored in over a half of the Broncos goals with five goals and two assists in a 13-9 triumph over Sonoma.

Brian Mark, Soph. – Indiana
The Hoosiers rolled to wins over Iowa State and Ole Miss, thanks to a combined four goals and five assists from the attackman.

Conrad McEvoy, Jr. – Georgia Tech
In wins over Florida and Vanderbilt, the attackman combined for 10 goals and eight assists, including a 10-point (7g, 3a) evening against the Gators.

Alec Moan, Sr. – Arizona
The middie started the Pac-12 Shootout with a pair of goals in a loss to Stanford, but led the Wildcats to a win with five goals against Washington.

Keegan Wells, Jr. – Michigan State
The defending national champions got off to a strong start with wins over No. 23 Minnesota and Pitt thanks to a combined eight goals and two helpers from the Wells.

Brandon White, Soph. – West Virginia
The defender helped the Moutaineers win the Big 12 Classic by scoring two goals, dishing out an assist while dominating the back line in all three games.

Jackson Woodard, Soph. – Concordia-Irvine
In the upset of No. 3 Brigham Young, the attackman scored two goals and set up three other while quarterbacking the Eagles' offense.
