AUSTIN, Texas – Baylor senior attackman Trey Cambere earned a pair of individual honors, leading the conference award winners, which were release on Saturday.
Cambere, who was also the US Lacrosse MCLA Player of the Month for February, was named both the LSA’s Most Valuable Player and the Offensive Player of the Year, after amassing nearly 100 points on the season.
Missouri State grabbed a pair of honors. Bears coach Dustin Rich was named the LSA Coach of the Year while senior defender Gunner Serota was tabbed Defensive Player of the Year.
Southeastern Louisiana’s Austin Danielson and UT-San Antonio’s Christian Reil were named Co-Rookies of the Year for the league.
