SLC Unveils Game of the Week Sked
SAN DIEGO – The Southwestern Lacrosse Conference (SLC), home of the last three MCLA Division I champions and the most recent Division II champ, is pleased to announce its Game of the Week schedule for the 2018 season.
The slate (below) features eight regular season games and the entire SLC tournament, which will take place from April 27-29 at La Costa Canyon High School in Carlsbad, Calif.
All games will be streamed on the Southwestern Lacrosse Conference YouTube channel and will be produced by TVX Sports Video.
“The SLC is proud to continue with its Game of the Week live stream offerings on its YouTube channel,” said SLC director Matt Holman. “While we can’t cover everyone, we do give a comprehensive look at the competition within the conference. Celebrating its tenth season, the SLC is 22 teams deep and stronger than ever.”
The first game takes place tomorrow, Feb. 17 at 6 p.m. PST when San Diego State hosts Concordia-Irvine – the 2017 MCLA Division II champion that is playing in Division I this spring.
That will be followed by five Division I contests and two Division II games through April 7.
All live streams will begin 10 minutes before the designated start time and are free, although viewers are asked to make a small donation to offset costs and allow the conference to bring back the Game of the Week in 2019.
