ATLANTA – After helping Georgia Tech post a hard-fought 1-1 weekend in the Rockies, Yellow Jackets senior midfielder Holland Frost has earned MCLA Division I Commanding Performance of the Week powered by Under Armour for the period ending April 2.

In the Ramblin’ Wrecks setback to No. 5 Colorado, the Marietta, Ga., native did all he could by scoring two goals and dishing out two assists while winning 13-of-18 faceoffs and grabbing seven ground balls.

Georgia Tech bounced back on Saturday evening with a 12-11 overtime victory against No. 10 Colorado State and Frost was once again the catalyst. He scored four goals and dished out an assist along with a perfect 8-for-8 on faceoffs and another seven GBs.

For the weekend, he had six goals, three assists, 14 ground balls and a 21-for-26 performance (80.8%) at the dot.

"We rely heavily on Holland for his strong faceoff play to gain possession for us while also helping to lead our offense,” said Georgia Tech coach Ken Lovic. “Holland has been a huge component for our team the past four years. This weekend was no exception in a very tough back-to-back series against two tough opponents.”

For his efforts in earning the Commanding Performance of the Week powered by Under Armour, Frost will receive a new Under Armour Command Head – a $100 value. Under Armour is the proud sponsor of the MCLA.

Caleb Britton, Fr. – Liberty
The Flames stunned No. 7 Florida State on Friday night, 11-7, and Britton’s four goals went a long way in making the upset happen. He added four goals and a dime in the loss to No. 17 UConn on Sunday.

Jake Gonzales, Sr. – Colorado
The Buffs ran their winning streak to 10 games thanks to a big weekend from Gonzales. The middie dropped four goals on No. 1 Georgia Tech before adding a hat trick against RMLC rival Utah Valley.

Alexander Larson, Jr. – Grand Canyon
The Lopes made in five straight with a 9-7 win over No. 8 Arizona State and Larson turned away 17 shots (70.8 sv%) in the pivotal SLC South division clash.

Kolten Rosin, Soph. – Boise State
The Broncos stunned No. 11 Utah on the road Saturday thanks to a career day from their sophomore middie. Rosin matched his career highs in goals (3) and points (4) helping Boise State improve to 5-2.

Aaron Silcott, Sr. – Florida
The Gators control their own destiny in making the SELC tournament thanks to Silcott winning 19-of-23 (82.6%) of his faceoffs in an 11-10 win over UCF. He also chipped in with a pivotal goal.

Lou Sugo, Soph. – Cal Poly
Squaring off with Chapman in a rematch of the 2016 national championship game, the close defender had five caused turnovers and seven ground balls as the Mustangs got a measure of revenge.
