Cal Poly Braces for Stiff Schedule
SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. -- Fresh off an appearance in the title contest of the 2016 MCLA National Championships powered by Under Armour, Cal Poly has released its schedule for the upcoming 2017 campaign.
The Mustangs will play a 16-game slate featuring six teams that qualified for nationals last spring. Cal Poly will play four of those teams -- UC Santa Barbara, Colorado, Colorado State and defending national champion Chapman -- at home.
The Mustangs kick off the spring with a road conference tilt against Santa Clara on Feb. 4 and wrap up the regular season with a trip to Cal-Berkeley on April 15.
