MCLA D-I Poll: Florida State Ascends
ATLANTA – After sweeping a pair of ranked teams during the Battle in Baltimore last weekend, Florida State has jumped up four spots and are now on the cusp of the Top 10 in the Under Armour MCLA Division Coaches Poll, which was released Wednesday.
The Seminoles are No. 11, aided by an 11-9 win over No. 10 Boston College and a 13-9 triumph against No. 16 Virginia Tech. FSU is now the second-highest ranked team out of the SELC, trailing just No. 2 Georgia Tech.
Chapman continues to tighten its stranglehold on the top spot, upping its first-place vote total to 25. Cal Poly has inched closer to Georgia Tech, but remains in third, followed by Grand Canyon and Colorado.
