Guardian Pearl Re-Ups as MCLA Partner
ATLANTA – The Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association, the nation’s preeminent non-varsity collegiate league, is pleased to announce it has extended its partnership with “The Pearl” lacrosse ball.
The Pearl will be the Official Ball of the MCLA for the 2019 season.
“Our first year partnering with Guardian and their Pearl lacrosse ball was outstanding,” said MCLA president Ken Lovic. “Our membership has access to a quality product at a discounted rate and our championships have a first class ball at our showcase event.”
The Pearl is resistant to the corrosive effects that plague most lacrosse balls. It will stay in spec and will not grease – it has a “grease-free” guarantee – and is made in the USA. This ensures consistent release from the mesh in MCLA competition; with the MCLA’s discount – your program can have consistent performance for practices as well.
The Pearl meets the NOCSAE/SEI specifications for a lacrosse ball and is the official ball of US Lacrosse and Team USA. It is stamped for play by both the NFHS and NCAA.
“We are delighted that The Pearl has been selected as the Official Ball of the MCLA,” said Erin Hanson, founder and owner of Guardian. “We understand the commitment and effort that MCLA student-athletes and coaches make to their craft, and they deserve an affordable, USA-made ball that performs at the highest possible level.”
MCLA programs will be able to purchase team orders of The Pearl lacrosse balls at a discount by visiting www.guardianpearl.com/order and using promo “MCLA” for $25 off buckets or “MCLA-NB” for 10% off No Bounce Pearls. Call the Pearl team at (770) 667-6004 for a discount on 10+ buckets.
